Roundtable on discrimination in health care

LIGA lawyer David Zahumensky participated on a meeting of different experts on discrimination and health care in London on 17 September 2008. The round table was organized by the Equal Rights Trust and its aim was to exchange experience between participants of Western and Central Europe and USA.

LIGA lawyer opened a session on discrimination of people with mental health problems. Other discussed issues involved e.g. unacceptability of woman circumcision, which is still practiced even in some communities in western world.
