League has participated in discussion on reform of the Strasbourg Court
The League responded to the invitation from the Ministry of Justice and, together with Brno Center for Human Rights and Democratization and Environmental Legal Service, contributed to the debate on how to streamline the work of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
Fair Schools are awarded certificates
A new program designed by the League of Human Rights aims to make Czech schools a fair place for everyone, including students with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and those who come from socially disadvantaged communities.

Amnesty International (AI) and local activists have accused the police of harassment and issuing threats after protesting outside the Iranian Embassy.
Courts would be perhaps allowed to publish pending judgments
The Ministry of Justice rendered a decision which is (in accordance to some interpretations) a radical break-through in a present-day practice of publishing the judgments. It may mean that Courts will also be obliged to publish pending judgments, which can nowadays be gained in public passing of the sentence or later from participants of a law-suit.
How long will it take Pecina to dismantle the police?
It could be the Police who will play a crucial role in preventing the radicalization of the society. As a long-time critic of the Police, I am curious to watch their efforts to introduce elements which could finally, after seventy years, get the Police closer to citizens.
